Karl von Eckhartshausen (1752-1803) was an 18th century German mystic, author, and philosopher who wrote extensively on esoteric topics. Born in Haimhausen, Bavaria, Eckartshausen initially studied philosophy and Bavarian civil law in Munich and Ingolstadt.
